Drowning the Light’s Lurker of the Void is a 2023 EP, presented on CD as three tracks of raw, atmospheric and majestically melodic Australian black metal.
Written and recorded during 2022, the release moves through cold oceanic atmosphere, melancholic tremolo melodies and ritual darkness. Its sound draws on Setapophian mysticism and abyssal themes, balancing hostile black metal with the sorrowful, sweeping character associated with Drowning the Light.
Azgorh performs all instruments and vocals.
CD edition released in 2023 by Dark Adversary Productions. Limited to 100 copies.
