Drowning the Light’s A World Long Dead is a bleak work of Australian black metal steeped in vampyric atmosphere, raw intensity and deep melancholy.
Cold melodies and desolate ambience carry the album through haunted, grief-stricken passages of darkness. Its depressive undercurrent and atmospheric scope make this a strong entry from one of Australia’s most prolific black metal projects.
